Majority of the Muslims ar not against Uniform Civil Code

Once the 22nd Law Commission has south the opinion of people and religious organizations on the issue of Uniform Civil Code (UCC), it is once again in discussion. Naturally, there will be rhetoric from political and religious communities. On this discussion of the Law Commission. But, the question is, who has a problem with the Uniform Civil Code in the country?. Whenever the Uniform Civil Code is discussed, some propaganda is done against Muslims in Such a way that UCC is implemented then the religious faith of Muslims will be in danger. While other laws of the country are equally applicable to all the citizens, due to which there is no impact on the followers of any religion and their religious beliefs. If there is Uniformity in matter of marriage, divorce, maintenance, succession, Inheritance, etc, then how will it be against any particular religion?

Secondly, the constitution has clear guideline for the UCC that the states should try to implement it. If the government does this, it will in accordance with the intention of the constitution. When ‘Triple Talaq’ was declared illegal by the government, the majority of the community accepted it as it was in their best interest. The ban of ‘Triple Talaq’ was also publicized as interference of the government in Muslim affairs, whereas the truth is that it become a blessing for Muslim women. While Asharafia Section of the community opposed UCC, the Pasmanda community welcomed i. The reason behind this is that the Pasmanda society adopts Indian culture in the matter of marriage and on the contrary. Second Marriage and Polygamy is a very easy and a common practice in Ashraf Society because of their Arabic/Iranian Culture.
Similarly , when Article 370 was removed from Jammu and Kashmir, there was a lot of uproar. The Ashraf Class of every state of India is far ahead of the Pasmanda Society in all respects, but in Kashmir this difference is even bigger. Reservation of social justice including many public welfare project of the central government, which till now could not be fully implemented due to privilege and whose direct loss was borne by the indigenous Pasmanda Community, will now be fully implemented. As a result, Pasmanda of Kashmir will also be entitled to equal opportunities for development like Pasmanda of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. The truth is that if the Government moves forward on the UCC, then Pasmanda Muslims will certainly welcome the initiative.
